Thank you for all who came out to Big Storm Brewing Co. in Cape Coral to support the Cape Coral Museum of History through a Quarter Auction!

What exactly is a quarter auction?

A quarter auction is a fun way to raise money for your favorite charity and a great night out!

How it works:

Bidders purchase a bidding paddle for $2. A corresponding numbered poker chip is deposited in a bucket for use in the drawing for the auctions items.

Bids:

Bid amounts are based on the retail value of each item.

1 Quarter = Retail value of $20-$25

2 Quarters = Retail value of $26-$50

3 Quarters = Retail value of $51-$75

Bidding:

Guests are seated at tables within the bidding area. Each vendor announces the item up for bid, gives a brief description, the retail value and the required quarter tickets bid for the item.

A bucket sits on each guest table to collect the quarters.  The Bidder holds their paddle up and deposits the required quarters.

The auctioneer stacks up the corresponding poker chips and draws a random chip for the winning paddle.

There will also be chance auction items, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle. All profits received from the event will benefit the Cape Coral Museum of History.
