Tours

Museum tours provide a fun and enriching experience for all, allowing tourists and residents alike to gain in-depth knowledge about various aspects of the area’s history, people, businesses, and architecture. Specialty group tours and guided tours of the gardens are also available.

Walk-ins are welcome.

Guided Tours

Guided Tours explore the history of Cape Coral from the early Calusa Indians who lived off the land, to the homesteaders who tamed the land in the early 1900s, to the Rosen brothers who turned Cape Coral into the city we know and love.

Tours of the Museum leave once an hour, on the hour, starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday through Friday and at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. The last tour begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and at 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Visitors are encouraged to call, email, or book online in advance to sign up for a specific tour time.

Group Tours

Group tours of the Museum can be offered for your school or business! Group tours must be scheduled in advance via phone or email.

Garden Tours

Come to the museum for a FREE guided tour of our all natural, Florida Friendly Gardens! Our natural gardens are both a Florida Yards and Neighborhood Gold Certified Garden and a Certified Butterfly Garden. Learn what makes our gardens “Florida Friendly” and how you can better use your green space. Garden tours are led by Master Gardeners of Lee County and Members of the Garden Club of Cape Coral. 2nd Wednesday of each month, October through April, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m
