Community Service and Internship Opportunities

Are you a student seeking to fulfill your community service obligation? The Museum regularly partners with local high schools and universities to provide community service hours for students. Students from many different courses of study (History, Education, Anthropology, Communications, etc.) have completed community service hours with the Museum, gaining both experience in archival methods and historical analysis and a deeper understanding of the history of Cape Coral and surrounding Southwest Florida communities where many of them have grown up and may reside after graduation. This partnership serves to inspire and engage the next generation of local historians, and possible leaders of the Cape Coral.

To learn more about our volunteer and internship opportunities fill out the form below or contact the Museum at 239-772-7037.

For any high school volunteer under 18 years old, a parent signature is required on the volunteer form. Please click the volunteer application button to print out a copy of the form. Once filled out, you can scan the form and upload it or you can bring the form directly to the Museum.
